Mark, this blog is outstanding. I will definitely copy it to my laptop and enjoy reading a morsel now and then as I have free time on the road. I don’t write as well as you, but you may enjoy (have enjoyed?) reading some of my sightings reports on the East Smoke Rising board, where you posted your blog’s URL. I really should try to put together a proper blog like this; much easier on the eyes and able to attach photos, too! Thanks much for the compliments and I’m glad you are enjoying the blog. I haven’t explored East Smoke Rising much yet, but I will certainly do more of it in the weeks ahead as I love sightings reports. Right now I’m heading for this year’s Iowa State Fair run, accumulating additional material for the blog in the weeks ahead.

Thanks much my friend. I’ll have a new Gretchen story coming in July. My life has changed some since my writing heyday so I have less time to write than I did in the past but I’m still planning to write a couple of new stories every year.
